Alien Party Supplies For an interesting twist with party themes take the Alien
Party Supplies mixed with another theme creating a unique
event. Aliens need to have fun too! An alien party can be weird and unique, leaving an impression on friend's minds. Set in low light and hand out glow sticks for people to walk around with or hand out simple alien masks to wear. Give new alien names to the food you are serving like Pluto Pizza, Saturn Salad, or Cosmic Cake. Play some golden oldies like 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' or 'War of the Worlds' and make a giant flying saucer out of foil and wire in the back yard for a laugh. Alien Recipes
Green Alien Lime PieCrust Little Green Men may go through the bother of actually visiting your Alien Party with this Lime Pie on the menu. It's a great and extremely popular classic recipe. Combine: 1 1/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs 1 1/2 teaspoons lime rind 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine Press into bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit for 8 minutes. Cool Filling: Thoroughly mix in saucepan: 1 envelope gelatin 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt Beat together: 4 egg yolks 1/2 cup lime juice 1/4 cup water Stir into gelatin mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring, just until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in: 1 teaspoon grated lime peel green food coloring--only enough to give PALE green color (2-3 drops) Chill, stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon. Beat until soft peaks form: 4 egg whites Gradually add: 1/2 cup sugar beating until stiff. Fold in gelatin mixture. Fold in: 1 cup heavy cream, whipped Pile into shell. Chill until firm. Before serving top with additional whipped cream, trim with grated lime peel. This is basically just Key Lime Pie, but I like to make it up for my UFO parties and call it Alien Pie. |

If you would like to have An Alien Party, it will be a blast to plan and pull off. Start with invites that say something like "The Martians are Coming".............to Andy's house. Hosting parents can dress as Aliens and have Alien abductions. Let the other parents know ahead of time but don't tell the kids. To decorate fill an Alien Air Walker with helium and set him outside to greet your guests by the door. Cover walls with black fabric and decorate with glow in the dark stickers and objects. An Alien Piņata will be a big hit (no pun indented.) Space helmets will make excellent center pieces. Feed your guest ordinary food with extra ordinary names like Beam me up Beans, Asteroid Applesauce, Pluto Pizza, Venus Veggies, and Blast off Burgers.
