Animal Recipes
Tuna Casserole My 5-year-old son Mike loves his bunny. So I thought that celebrating a bunny party will really excite him and it would be something that we would cherish forever. Serves 4-6 1 can tuna, drained 1 can early green peas, drained 1 tomato, sliced bread butter flour 1/2 lb cheader cheese, grated Cut about 8 slices of bread into 1/2" squares. Pour about 4 tablespoons of melted butter over bread and mix in the cheese. In a saucepan, over low heat mix 1 tablespoon of butter with 1 tablespoon of flour, to make a thick white sauce. Then stir tuna fish into white sauce. In a 9" baking dish line the bottom with bread and cheese mixture. Pour tuna over this and then add the peas. Add a layer of sliced tomatoes and sprinkle remaining bread and cheese mixture on top. Bake at 375 F until the cheese is melted.Mike was so ecstatic throughout the party and we took so many pictures of him and the bunny. I forgot to mention, he specifically asked to cook Tuna Casserole for his party, which everyone really enjoyed. |

A Farm Animal party is a great theme for children of all ages especially those who love the zoo and The Farm. Some children fall in love with animals. It might be puppies, kittens, horses, tigers, bugs or even unicorns. The invitation could be in the shape of the animal or if "dog theme", it could be a dog bone. For fun games at the party, kids could be asked to draw pictures of their favorite animals. Decorations could be pictures of favorite animals or pets and games could involve word scramble about the pets, animal bingo, pin the "blank" on the "blank" and animal pinata.
