For an interesting twist with themes take the Cat in the Hat
Party Supplies mixed with another theme creating a unique
event. It's rhyme time! Elementary School teachers seeking to throw a party in the classroom can pick a Cat in the Hat theme. Have the guests bring their favorite Dr. Seuss books. A Cat in the hat Party will be a hit with all the children. Your party plan should include Cat in the Hat invitations that could be made in the shape of a large stovepipe Hat. To decorate, find play umbrellas and hang them open from the ceiling or place on the tables. Children could come dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character: The Cat, The Fish, Horton or Sam. One fun game could be, pin the hat on the cat or musical chairs with all the kids wearing their stovepipe hats.
