Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Recipe

You do not have to be a profession pizza maker to make this famous pizza, just follow this recipe.
Dough:
2 packages of rapid rise yeast
2 cups warm water
½ cup vegetable oil
4 Tablespoons olive oil
½ cup cornmeal
5 ½ cups flour
Dissolve the yeast in the water. Add the vegetable oil, olive oil, cornmeal, and half of the flour. Mix until well combined. Mix in the rest of the flour. Kneed for several minutes using a dough hook on your mixer. Place the dough on a clean countertop and cover with a metal bowl. Let rise to double the size and then punch down. Allow to rise again and punch down for the second time. Oil the deep dish pan and form the dough around the bottom and sides of the pan till it is about 1/8 inch thick.
Topping:
1/3 pound sliced mozzarella
2 cups Italian style tomatoes peeled, and squashed
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt to taste
3 Tablespoons parmesan cheese
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Choice of meats
Arrange the mozzarella into a tile like pattern along the bottom of the dough. Add the tomatoes, basil, oregano, garlic, and salt. Place your choice of meat on top of the tomato mixture. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top, and drizzle the olive oil over the pizza. Bake the pizza at 475 degrees for about 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the top is golden.
