Elegant White Chocolate Truffles Dress up any party with these tasty White Chocolate Truffles. They are great for people who don't like chocolate. Plus, they are quick to make up. Elegant White Chocolate Truffles 8 oz white chocolate 48 ea good walnut / pecan halves 6 T unsalted butter, room temp. 1 1/2 T water 1 ea large egg yolk Preheat oven to 300F. Set aside a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Chop the white chocolate into small pieces and set aside. Toast the nuts on a baking sheet in a single layer for 5 to 8 minutes. Set them aside. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt them in the microwave. Microwave at high power for 1 minute, then stir. If necessary, continue the process for additional 30-second intervals until completely melted. Microwave only until smooth; DO NOT OVERHEAT!!! Pour into a bowl and add the yolk. Continue beating until the mixture is fluffy and cooled to room temperature. Chill until firm (about 4 hours). Remove from refrigerator and form into 24 1-inch balls. Sandwich between 2 nut halves. Chill until ready to serve. Trust me, you can't stop at just one of these little treats. |

Every little girl loves the Disney Princesses so to have a party with this theme would make any little girl ecstatic. Choose the princess of her chose such as say Cinderella and then the rest of the planning is easy. The party invites, party decorations and party supplies and party favors, could all be which ever princess is chosen or it could be one that includes all the princesses. Hang balloons with the various princesses on the around the room and have a princess castle that the guests can play with. Little girls love to dress up as The Disney Princesses so a dress up costume party would be a big hit. Games could involve acting out the stories from the movies or even watching the movies as a fun activity. Have a bag with clues to what princess is inside and then give out prizes to whoever guesses the correct answer. Finger foods such as chips and dip, fries and hamburgers will please any princess.
