Enjoy some nice warm Cars Cars Theme Party cookies, inspired by the popular animated motion picture. Guests will drive over in droves to sample these golden auto-shaped delicacies, inspired by one of the 'sweetest' cartoon features of all time!

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup Flour
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking powder
10 tbsp Butter (margarine/shortening)
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cup Walnuts or Chopped Pecans

How to prepare:
Combine flour, salt and baking powder in one bowl.
Using an electric mixer at medium-low speed, beat the butter and sugar until the combination is light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla. Reduce mixer speed to low, beating in the flour mixture. Divide dough in half and shape each piece into a log formation approximately 1" in diameter. Cover with plastic wrap, twisting the ends of the wrap to form the dough into a smooth cylinder. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Spread about half the nuts in a plastic container or other work surface. Roll a single log in the nuts so that the whole surface is coated thoroughly. Rewrap and chill for at least 30 minutes. Repeat with the other log. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the chilled dough into slices that are approximately 3/8" thick. Place slices on ungreased baking sheets about 2" apart, and bake until the edges start to brown, about 8-10 minutes. Then, using a car-shaped cookie cutter, morph these delicious but standard looking cookies into adorable facsimiles of whimsical toy cars.

A Disney Cars theme party is a great one for young boy. There are many little ideas that can be done here. One thing that can be done is putting the invitations in a shape of a car. This will let everyone know what type of theme party it is and what all they need to bring or wear if possible. Decorating is a great thing too and it is very easy.
