Simple Lemon Pie
Surprisingly simple, this Lemon Pie will add some flavor to any party. It's especially good at that football party when your guests eyes will be glued to the television screen watching that big game.
2 large lemons
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
pastry for a 2 crust 9" pie
Slice lemons (unpeeled) paper thin. Add sugar, mix well and let
stand at least 2 hours. Add beaten eggs and combine well. Roll
half the pastry out and place in pie plate. Fill with lemon
mixture, cover with top crust. Cut slits and seal edges. Bake
in preheated 450 oven for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375 and
bake 20 more minutes. Serve at room temperature.
There's nothing like a big bite of creamy Avocado on my pizza.

Football is the sport where we get together with our fellow fans and act, well, fanatical. Whether it's tailgating at the game or hosting some friends in front of the tube, rooting for our teams has become an enjoyable ritual. For your invitations, you might want to use Football Tickets. Decorate with team colors and encourage your guests to decorate them. You could provide face paint and have some glitter pom poms around for people to shake. Centerpieces could be inflatable footballs. Beverages are important, so think about having a football cooler full of beer and other beverages. Have noise makers like maracas, clackers and whistles. Real soft footballs will make great items to toss at the TV when the other team gets a lucky break. Pot luck is a great way to go, as then you get everyone’s best dishes. Or you could have a big pot of chili, some sausage and peppers, or maybe meatballs for sandwiches and a cold platter so everyone can help themselves. Desserts are simple and fun with cup cakes and cookies.
