Good Luck Party Supplies
For an interesting twist with party themes take the Good Luck
Party Supplies mixed with another theme creating a unique
event. Good luck parties are a great way to celebrate any occasion. A good luck party is fun to surprise people with. Hey guys, use this as the theme for the Bachelor and you'll get loads of laughs. Get a plastic ball and chain and attach to the groom's ankle. Try getting the guests involved. Have guests give tips on how to avoid conflict in the marriage and for a kick make up an emergency survival kit for the groom's marriage, including plausible alibi's, air freshener to rid himself of lingering cigarette smoke or perfumes and a laminated card with the words, "Yes, dear." Pass on the ball and chain at the end of the night to one of the guests to remind him he's next! Make your Theme
party original!

Good Crostini
A good italian bread is the essense of a classic Italian meal or snack. If you want something simple and filling for that Good Luck party, you'll have to put your Italian bread to good use in this Crostini. It's tasty served warm or cold, and can be a meal in itself.
1 baguette herbed bread
2 tblsp butter
seasoning to taste
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
2 1/2 tblsp butter or oil
1/2 cup basil (fresh if possible)
1/3 cup cheese (parmesean or romano)
2 cloves garlic
2-3 sliced roma tomatoes
Optional: 1/2 cup sliced onion OR 1 can minced clams (or shrimp)
Take baguette of herbed bread. Slice into approx 1" thick pieces.
Cover BOTH surfaces with butter. Place slices on a baking pan.
In a small saucepan, combine wine, oil/butter, garlic (and clams) and
simmer for five minutes. Add basil (and parmesan or romano cheese) and
heat for about a minute and then remove from heat. Let stand until
thick.
Spoon pesto over the bread. Put sliced tomatoes on
top and cover with slice of mozzarella.
Place baking pan in the oven and broil until the cheese starts to brown. Whenever I'm planning a party I make up this Crostini. It would be great with just the pesto sauce by itself!

Having a Good Luck Party is a great idea and the person of honor will appreciate this gesture. On your red (symbol of luck in Asian culture) invitations, tell your guest to bring a duplicate of their favorite lucky charm and a lucky coin to be used in a game. Decorate the house with symbols of good luck like, rabbit’s foot, four leafed clovers, horse shoes, ladybugs, crickets and jewels. When the guests arrive, have them put their lucky coin in one of two piggy banks then have them sit in a circle and tell a story about what their lucky charm means and how it works and then they can present it to the guest of honor as a good luck present. One game you could play would be coin toss where the guests guess the outcome and the one who guesses the most correct answers wins one of the piggy banks. Another game could be to guess the number of coins in the piggy bank; the winner gets this piggy bank. Serve foods that are thought to bring luck like dumplings, longevity noodles, black-eyed peas, whole fish, lentils, cornbread and cabbage. A Good Luck Cake will add the finishing touch to this wonderful party. Decorate it with symbols of Good Luck!
