Because they are so special a Grandparents Day Party will be a special occasion. This could be a small intimate gathering or a larger event involving family and friends. You could call, email or send out invitations and maybe a picture of the grandparents on it would be appropriate. Decorations would probably be along the lines of lots of photos of the grandparents with their grandchildren at various ages of their lives so far. One fun game to play is to sit in a circle and one person starts the name of a city, state, country, ocean or part of the world, then the next person must think of one of these starting with the last letter of the previous person. For example: "Canada", then the next one must think of a place that starts with "A". This gets the brain going and is a lot of fun. A buffet table with various dishes would be perfect for this party. Have guests bring their best dish and you will have an incredible feast. Plan out who's bringing what so as not to duplicate and make a few people bring desserts like: cake, cookies, pastries, brownies and other goodies as well.
