For an interesting twist with party themes take the Harry Potter Party Supplies mixed with another theme creating a unique event.  Harry Potter is all the rage among school-aged kids. Going as Harry Potter is not only popular for Halloween it's a fairly easy costume to make and with movies coming out each year the costume is also reusable. A quick and easy robe can be made using a large rectangular piece of black fabric with a hole cut in the center, basically turning it into a poncho. If you like you can make diagonal slits on either side of the folded fabric and sew together to make into wizard-like sleeves.
