Mahi Mahi Burgers Give your Hawaiian Luau a little bit of a twist as far at the menu is concerned with these Mahi Mahi Burgers. It's a great way to prepare the fish and adds something unique and fresh to the table for guests to eat. They'll love that you offered a fun alternative to Pork at this Hawaiian Luau. 3 cups broiled Mahi Mahi 1/4 cup almonds or macadamia nuts, chopped 1/4 cup pineapple, crushed 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 tsp curry powder 1 egg, beaten Shred Mahi Mahi with fingers. Combine fish, nuts, pineapple, mayonnaise, curry and egg. Mix well. Form into patties. Fry or broil. I also like to eat these Mahi Mahi burgers like steaks or regular fish patties with a good tartar sauce. |

Luau means 'feast' so we know what this Hawaiian Luau Party will be all about. This will be a gathering of family and friends to enjoy good food, good company and good times! There may be spontaneous ukulele or guitar playing, with everyone singing. Your invites could have Hawaiian hula dancers on them and say something like" Aloha, You're invited to Our Luau." For the party itself, decorate with lots of leaves, and flowers and leis. If possible hire a Hula Dancer or a Flame Swallower. One fun game might be to have a limbo pole and see who can go so low. Traditional Hawaiian food should include: fresh pineapples, papaya, macadamia nut treats. No Luau would be complete without "Poi" the popular side dish served at most Luaus. You don't have to roast a pig in the ground to make it an authentic Luau, try other outdoor foods such as barbequed chicken, ribs, steaks and all the wonderful side dishes such as salads, potatoes, rice, noodles, vegetables and corn on the cob.
