Instead of store bought party supplies for a Houston Texans theme party why not try a hand at the homemade kind. The Houston Texans are a young franchise but the fan base is one of the strongest in football. Cut out pieces of felt in navy blue, red and white in the shape of a football. Cut another piece of felt to apply the H in Houston or T in Texans. Once the felt is cut out then paste it to the piece of cardboard of the same football shape. Glue the cardboard with the felt one a long craft stick. Make several felt footballs, helmets and football related items out of felt, apply to cardboard, and craft sticks. once the felt craft sticks are completed then place them into a Styrofoam block in a bucket or container. Decorate the bucket or container with red, navy blue, and white ribbons or construction paper. Hide Styrofoam by adding small candies or curling ribbon over the Styrofoam block. Gather Mylar and tape it around the base of the container.

Place the candles of various sizes in the center of the food table.
