This could be planned for any number of events that are to come such as: 50 days till 50 party, or 30 days till 30 parties, or a pre Christmas Party, or any up and coming event. This party will be a great time to have the guests that are coming to the real party, help you with the planning of it. At the Count down party, you can have your guests help you with writing the invitations, making the decorations, and making lists of things to be done. This Countdown Party does not have to be elaborate but can be a fun get together with food and drinks.
