Quickie Crab Puffs Lobsterfest has got to be one of the best food parties in the history of partydom. Nothing like great tasting lobster to fill anyone's appetite. Plus, you can supplement those lobsters with a few goodies like these Quickie Crab Puffs. 1 pkg. wanton skins 8 oz. cream cheese 7 1/2 oz. crab 2 tsp. soft breadcrumbs 2 drops sesame oil Combine all ingredients except skins. Fill squares with 1 tsp. of the mixture and fold over, making triangles. Moisten to seal edges. Fry in oil heated to 370 F for 3 minutes, or until brown and puffed, turning once. Serve with Chinese mustard. My guests all wanted me to make seconds of this dish, right in the middle of the party! Make lots of extras. |

A Lobster fest Party is a very special treat for your guests and the person being honored. It could be a birthday party or a graduation party. Whatever the occasion, this is truly a special theme. Make it a feast of seafood, with bibs and all. Start by finding or making interesting invites with a Lobster on it. Decorate your house like a beach or if it is an outdoor party, incorporate this idea into the yard with lots of beach balls, fish nets, shells, seaweed, rocks, and starfish. Blue Streamers will give the effect of the ocean and you could add blue and silver balloons as well. If outside, throw some sand and shells on the tables. Any outdoor games will be a blast like beach volleyball, pass the orange without your hands, races and competitive sports. The meal is set with the giant Lobsters but you can add other seafood such as crab’s shrimps etc. and then add a lot of interesting side dishes like: corn on the cob, salads, macaroni and cheese, and veggie and fruit platters.
