On your invitations you could use any of the following symbols: ocean/beaches, surf boards, grass shirts, coconut bras, silk leis, Hawaiian shirts and bathing suits. All these items can also be used for your decorations as well. Food for your Luau could include roasting a pig underground in an Imu Pit. Other ideas might be to have it catered or prepare your own food. Start with fresh slices of Pineapple and Macadamia Nuts. Serve Punch, Salads, Table Snacks or other Buffet Items in Large Sea Shells or Beach Pails.
