Getting the best recipe for a Miami Dolphins football game is easy with this chili recipe. Spice up the fun with a Zesty Chili that can be enjoyed by the bowl or by the scoop at a Miami Dolphins Theme Party!

Ingredients:

3 lbs. - ground beef (or turkey)
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
4 – 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes
3 – 38 oz. cans of kidney beans
1 tblsp – minced garlic
2 tsp – salt
6 tbsp – chili powder
¼ cup – vegetable oil
1 lb – zucchini
1 lb – carrots
1 lb – onions

Instructions:

1. Chop up the zucchini, carrots and the onions.

2. In a 6 quart pot, heat up ¼ cup vegetable oil and then add in vegetables. Cook over a medium-high heat for about 15-20 minutes. Stir about 4 times until the vegetables are almost tender.

3. In an 8 quart pot, put in the 3 lbs. of beef (or turkey) and 1 tbsp. of minced garlic. Break up the meat and cook it until it is no longer red. In the same pot, stir in the four cans of crushed tomatoes, vegetables, the can of tomato sauce and the salt. Bring the pot to a boil and then reduce heat to medium-low. Let the flavor set in by simmering it for about 20 minutes.

Note: This recipe yields 22 cups of meat sauce. If needing less than this, cut the recipe in half or as deemed necessary.

4. Add in the kidney beans and the chili powers and stir thoroughly. If desired, top with sour cream, onions and shredded cheese.
