A party is never complete without cupcakes, so when planning a theme like a motorcycle rally, have special motorcycle rally cupcakes to suit the occasion. Apart from the cupcakes, there are a lot of ideas that can be applied to express your party theme properly.
The most important factor is the decoration of course, without proper decoration a party never really has the proper feel that it should have. So spend some money on arranging proper banners, wall posters and printed balloons for your event.
Planning early is the key. That way you’ll have time to stock yourself up with the right party supplies. A lot of the things are easily available. You will easily get party supplies like plates, cups, chair drapes, balloons, stickers, posters and lights.
As for the food, you’ll have to arrange that yourself. Although there are food stuffs available for some basic party themes, but for a party theme like motorcycle rally, you may not be able to get the right materials easily.
So you’ll have to be creative and improvise. Here is a great example for preparing motorcycle rally cupcakes to suit the occasion.
You will need:
• 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 12 egg whites from large eggs
• 1 ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
• Black, Red and Green topping spray
Prepare the oven by heating it to 350 degrees. Arrange the pans with paper liners.
Next beat the egg whites in a large bowl until they are all frothy. Add 1 cup of sugar to the mixture and beat slowly.
Mix the remaining sugar with the flour and fold 1/4th of it at a time into the egg whites.
Pour the batter into the cupcake liners until they are two-thirds full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and cool them in a rack.
Decorate the tops with Black-Red or Black-Green. These are typical biking colours and along with the other decorations will give a proper feel of the motorcycle rally theme.
It would be even better if you place the cupcakes on a tray with a bike poster underneath it. Place small toy motorcycles around the tray to add further to the theme.
