Make the next New Orleans Saints party a memorable one with homemade centerpieces, banners, invitations, thanks you notes and party favors. Not only does making party decorations help save money but they are very fun to create. New Orleans is all about partying so be sure this New Orleans Saints party will not disappoint. To create a fabulous Saints centerpieces gather saints black and gold beads, curling ribbon, Mylar balloons, glitter, balloons, and Mardi Gras masks. New Orleans is the home of Mardi Gras so why not incorporate Mardi Gras into the Saints centerpiece as well. If a black and gold Mardi Gras cannot be found, take a ordinary white mask and cover it with black and gold glitter with a feather or two attached to it (use existing Mardi Gras masks for inspiration). Use balloon weights and Styrofoam as the base for the Saints centerpiece. Use craft sticks to elevate Mardi Gras masks and other party supplies. Cut out the Saints logo, Fleur-De-Lis, and paste it on a same shape cardboard piece. Glue or tape the logo to a craft stick. Add gold or black glitter to the Saints logo – the centerpiece should be very festive looking with shimmer and shine to it (there is nothing dull about Mardi Gras). Cut out other football symbols such as footballs helmets, goalposts etc. Individuals making a centerpiece for the first time may consider sketching it out beforehand to get an idea of what it should look like.
