There is one thing guests expect when attending a football party and that one thing is food! Have a delicious and unexpected appetizer at the next Oakland Raiders Theme Party that guests will love.

Makes: two dozen

Ingredients:

1/2 cUP - heavy cream
24-28 each - large stuffing mushroom caps
1/2 cUP - Italian cheese, grated
1/2 cUP - melted butter
7 oz. - frozen Canadian snow crab meat
1/4 cup - breadcrumbs
2 tsp. - fresh, finely chopped parsley
1 Tbsp. - lemon juice
1/2 cup - plain breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. - Dijon mustard
1/2 cup - heavy cream
1/2 tsp. - ground pepper
1/2 tsp. - seasoning salt
1/4 cup - mayonnaise
1/2 bunches - fresh, finely chopped chives
1 tsp. - paprika

Instructions:

Quickly wash and dry mushroom caps; toss them with butter and place them on a baking tray.

Thaw and drain crabmeat; remove as much water as possible. Add the pepper, chives, salt, lemon juice, mustard, paprika, parsley and breadcrumbs. When thoroughly mixed, add them to the caps evenly.

Mix together the breadcrumbs, mayonnaise and cheese. Mix until it looks like a thick, spreadable sauce. Spoon this mixture on top of each individual mushroom and place them under the broiler.

Bake them for about 10 minutes at 450 degrees or until the topping is browned lightly and the mushroom soften (liquid should come out of them).

Note: This appetizer is designed to be served hot.
