Party organization should be at the top of the list for someone who is going to be throwing a party.
The themed party supplies will reflect in your planning ahead. How organized you are during the party will reflect in the way the party turns out. Guests will have a better time if you plan things out before hand. Party organization starts with the invitations. Decide what time the guests will be arriving and what time the party will end. After the times are written on the invitations, you can plan the rest of the party accordingly.
Although you may write a certain time for the guests to arrive, not everyone will be on time. The first half hour of the party should be devoted to greeting your guests and for the guests to get acquainted with each other.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you introduce all the guests to each
other. After everyone knows who is who, it's a good time to bring out the appetizers; chips, dips and finger foods. Offer your guests a drink at this time as well. If you are planning games, then this would be a good time to start.

Crafts can be started at some point around this time; after the appetizers and before the main course. Two-thirds of the way through the party is a good time to serve the main dish. It could be pizza, hotdogs and hamburgers or a sit-down dinner. If you are going to open the presents in front of the guests, it is a good time to start after the main course. The last bit of time is devoted to cake or dessert. Once the cake is pulled out, it's the guest's cue that the party is almost over. If you plan out your times for party activities but are not too strict with them, you will have a well organized, entertaining party.
