Party organization should be at the top of the list for someone who is going to be throwing a party. Crafts can be started at some point around this time; after the appetizers and before the main course. Two-thirds of the way through the party is a good time to serve the main dish. It could be pizza, hotdogs and hamburgers or a sit-down dinner. If you are going to open the presents in front of the guests, it is a good time to start after the main course. The last bit of time is devoted to cake or dessert. Once the cake is pulled out, it's the guest's cue that the party is almost over. If you plan out your times for party activities but are not too strict with them, you will have a well organized, entertaining party.
