Here is the simple recipe to bake the perfect cupcakes for the Pirate cupcakes theme party. Bake the cupcakes in any flavor (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or butter….anything) and set them aside to cool. Prepare peach colored butter cream icing and cover each of the cupcakes completely with the icing. Now the foundation of the pirate’s face is almost ready. Roll out red fondant (thickness around 1/6”) and cut it in round shapes with a cookie cutter. The size should be exactly same with the cupcake’s surface. Take half of each round shaped fondant and place it on the upper part of the cupcake to make a pirate’s hat. Put some yellow or brown dots on the red hat; use brown icing for that. Put two round candies (black, blue or brown) to make eyes and one (yellow or peach) to make a nose. Sprinkle some chocolate jimmies under the nose to make beards. Make the smiling lips with red fondant. Watch the simple cupcake turning into a naught pirate face!
