Arrgh Deadly Chocolate Bars
Even pirates have to eat and they'll eat well at your holiday party with this Chocolate Bar Recipe. It's more of a layered chocolate mousse with a yummy brownie base, but you won't hear the guests complaining.
1 brownie mix
1/2 c Kahlua
1 pkg chocolate pudding (DO NOT USE INSTANT PUDDING) (use the large size,
the package that requires 3 cups of milk)
1 12-oz. container of Cool Whip
2 Heath Bars, chopped (or one bag of already chopped Heath Bar pieces)
Chopped Walnuts
Prepare brownie mix using the receipt for "cake-like" brownies. While
still warm and in the baking pan, poke brownies with a fork. Pour all of
the Kahlua over the baked brownies.
Prepare chocolate pudding according to instructions and refrigerate
until slightly set. Use half of the pan of brownies and line the bottom
of the bowl. (do not crumble them, but try to get pieces as large as
possible). Press lightly up the sides of the bowl.
Cover with half of the prepared chocolate pudding; then half of the
container of Cool Whip. Sprinkle with 1 chopped Heath Bar (or half of
the package). Repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Top with the
Chopped walnuts. Refrigerate.
My family nags me until I make this up every time there's a B-day. When I'm lazy I just use a graham cracker crust.

Children and Adults love to dress up as Pirates so a Pirate party is the perfect idea for a celebration. Their invites can be drawn up on old looking parchment paper or even a bottle with the message in it and of course, a little sand. These invitations should be hand delivered. Decorate the house to look like a Pirate ship, with lots of fishing net, anchors, and treasure chests. The women (at an adult party) could dress as wenches with lots of cleavage. The food should be barbaric and eaten with the hands or a hook : like meat. Think lots of jewelry, make-up and party favors when planning this fun party. Drinking will be the theme, whether it's alcoholic or not. Make Pirate cup cakes for the guests and make them do a trick or walk the plank, before receiving their treat. Prizes for the best costumes will finish this great Pirate Celebration ----ARRRRR!!!!!!
