Firstly, slice the cupcake half with white icing on top of it. Try making the icing edge as straight as possible. Now at the center of the cupcake, make a circular, dime-sized shape with the help of white icing.
The next step is to mix good quantity of vanilla icing with the red food color in order to cover the other half of the rest of the cupcakes. Make sure the icing is reddish in color. In fact, if someone opts for a darker shade, it would appear more enticing.
Then cover the other half with red icing (as above) of all cupcakes, but do not cover the white circle on the middle of each cupcake.
Now with the help of the black gel, draw the outline of the white circle on the middle of the cupcake, and then cover the center line on which the red icing and white icing intersect with each other.
Putting a small Pokémon toy made of plastic, on the white portion of all cupcakes would make it much appealing to the eye and this will also ensure that the food dye does not mingle up with the toy.
