First, prepare a white box cake mix according to the specified directions. Then carefully spoon the batter into cupcake liners decorated with a pool side theme or in a bright solid color.
After the cupcakes have been baked allow them to cool and then decorate with a pool side theme. First of all, mix white frosting along with blue food coloring to give the frosting an ocean look or mix with green coloring to give the frosting a grass green look. Regardless of the color, the cupcakes will be adorable. After frosting the cupcakes allow them to sit for about an hour and then adorn them with cupcake toppers and pool side party favors. These cupcakes can be decorated a variety of ways to give different pool party looks.
On the blue and green pool party cupcakes add a variety of different objects and edible items for a fresh look. For instance, on the green and blue cupcakes add edible gummy fish, candy coated chocolate and colorful sprinkles to give them an outdoor look. More often than not, these cute cupcakes will be ideal for any of your pool party needs.
