San Diego Chargers party supplies and cupcakes designs incorporate team colors and logos. In fact, that is what distinguished San Diego Charger cupcakes from any other cupcake out there. First, gather the colors necessary to make creating a Chargers cupcake. These colors would be Navy blue, powder blue, white and gold. If gold cannot be found, use yellow. Add gold cupcake glitter for a shine if desired.
Creating icing color is easy through food coloring. Simply use the food coloring drops until the desired navy blue color is created. This is typically 8 drops. Lighten up to get the powder blue by adding only 2-3 drops of food coloring.
The lightning bolt can be iced on very easy, free hand. The great part about the lightning bolt is that it does not have to be uniform and they can all essentially be different. The only thing that needs to remain consistent with the bolts is that they all have an arch upwards. Icing the cupcakes in navy blue as the base with the white lightning bolt outlined in powder blue and then in gold is a perfect way to capture the San Diego Chargers team logo.
If looking to add a little extra, try adding more lightning bolts or jazz it up with plastic football items such as a small football replica or a football going through a field goal. The field goal and football can even be iced on as a picture, using the team colors for theme purposes.
