School Party Supplies
For an interesting twist with party themes take the School
Party Supplies mixed with another theme creating a unique
event. School parties provide a much needed break for students. Parties at school should not only be entertaining but educational. You can use holidays like Columbus Day and Groundhog Day as a chance to get the kids learning while being entertained. Keep things fresh by including pop culture trivia. Study the history of Punxsutawney Phil, while eating a groundhogs traditional meal of seeds and roots (enhanced of course, think loaded baked potatoes). Try having students bring a food dish and do research on it's origins. Make your Theme
party original!

Kids Love French Toast!
It can be difficult to create a fun School party for the kids when you are limited in cooking space and appliances. Rather than breaking down and having pizza, try taking the kids down to the home economics room for a first hand lesson in making real French Toast!
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tbls Cointreau or orange flavoring
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 - 4 slices of bread, halved
melted butter
powdered sugar
Whisk the first five ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Lay the
bread halves out on a baking sheet that has a rim on it all the way
around. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and let it soak in. Turn
the bread halves over once or twice to make sure all of the liquid is
absorbed.
Heat up your skillet or griddle to medium while awaiting the bread to
finish soaking.
Lightly oil or butter your skillet or griddle and put on the bread.
Cook for 3 minutes on each side. I used to think that French Toast was just thick cut bread, dipped in egg batter and fried…but it's so much more and this recipe has shown me the way.

The key to a successful school party is to keep it simple. Arrange a time with the teacher such as lunchtime or break time and bring cupcakes with lot of sprinkles on them for all the kids. If the school allows it, you could decorate with the appropriate decorations such as birthday.........When doing your invitations, be sure to mention what the occasion is such as: birthday, valentine's day, Christmas, etc. Games could include a scavenger hunt, musical chairs, which’s got the button, pin the tail on the donkey, and piñata bursting. As the mother will probably be the one bringing the snacks, might we suggest small sandwiches such as peanut butter and jam and cheese. Don't forget the presents and give out party favors to add to the fun.
