You could decide on several spy code terms and assign each one with a particular movement such as taking off your glasses could mean you're getting closer, sneezing means you're in the wrong room. After the guests have settled in, hand them a note that will have a description of the missing piece of jewelry that they will be searching for. Then one by one the clues can be revealed. This will have everyone busy running around the searching for the 'Stolen Jewelry'. In the background, during the party, you could have the TV series, Mission Impossible playing. After the jewels have been found, a prize for the winner might be something to do with 'detective skills' such as a magnifying glass, or note book. Now its time for refreshments.
