Breakfast Bagels
Satisfy the appetites of your littlest party guests at that Slumber Party with these Breakfast Bagels. You can make sure you send them home the next morning with full bellies, while not having to go all out in making a morning meal. Great for parents who are too pooped to cook!
1 bagel, cut in half,
2 cheese slices,
Thinly sliced apple slices,
Cinnamon.
Put the cheese slices on the bagel, and top with apple slices and
sprinkle with cinnamon. Heat in oven til cheese is melted. You might want to ask the kids before assembling these breakfast bagels if they actually want cheese and apples together. I didn't think to do that the first couple of times and my kids were grossed out.

If your daughter wants to have a slumber party, it will be fun and easy to plan. Start with invites that look like a sleeping bag and insert a picture of you daughter. Ask guests to set up their sleeping bags as soon as they get to your house. Announce that no one can sleep on sofas or beds. Have the girls do outside activities like a scavenger hunt, till it starts to get dark as they will be crammed in a room with a bunch of other girls for a long time. Rent a movie and make lots of popcorn. Have music that the girls like so that they can dance when not watching a movie. Set up a 'concession stand' and give every guest a plate to load up with popcorn, pretzels, chips, cheese curls, candy and other treats. Don't forget the beverages like sodas, ice tea, lemonade and water. Set out a few board games so the ones who don't fall asleep right away can quietly keep themselves busy. Stage a pajama contest and have the girls model their pajamas. Sing Karaoke with a rented machine. Make rice krispie treats. Have a fun breakfast for the girls like donuts, bagels and cream cheese, fruit with whipped cream, eggs and individual juices.
