Everybody’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day so having a party to celebrate is the perfect idea. Whether you celebrate in a pub or at home, everything will be green. Green Beer, green food, drinks and traditional Irish recipes will be served. When it comes to your invitations, you can cut out or draw shamrocks or leprechauns and the same will go for decorating your party house. Also blow up dozens of green balloons and pile them in the corners. Tie a few green Mylar balloons to the front of the house or the front gate and screw a green light bulb into the outside light so that your guests will know where the party is. String green Christmas lights across the ceiling. Place a big rock (fake paper mache rock) right inside the entrance with a sign that says "BLARNEY STONE - KISS FOR GOOD LUCK". Pass out "kiss me I'm Irish” buttons to your guests as they arrive. Swing Irish songs and have a Limerick contest and give out a silly prize. Set your tables with green tablecloths, napkins and cups and sprinkle shamrock confetti on the tables. Serve green munchies, including green cookies, green M&M's and chips and guacamole. Classic Irish beer would be best and don't forget the green Jell-O shots.
