Have fun creating Tampa Bay Buccaneers cupcakes and add party supplies that guests would not even imagine! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo is of a skull and sword crossbones with a football in the middle. Keeping with the Buccaneer theme, create pirate ship cupcakes!
What is needed:
Oreo Cookies (one –half per cupcake)
Hershey Miniatures
Brown icing (white icing dies with food coloring)
Black icing
Blue Icing
Toothpicks
Red Fondant
Small tipped icing bag
1. Cut fondant into small flags. This can be done by cutting out a rectangle and then creasing it to get the wave look. Fondant takes the shape that it is made into. Set them aside.
2. Remove the top of each Oreo cookie. The choice could be to use both pieces or strictly the one with or without icing. Set them aside.
3. Unwrap the Hershey Miniature Chocolates and set aside.
Assembly:
4. Ice the top of a cupcake in any themed color desired – red, black or even orange.
5. Place the Oreo cookie in the center, on top of the iced cupcake; place the Hershey miniature upside down on the Oreo. The larger part (bottom) should be facing upwards.
6. Stick the toothpick into the chocolate, without splitting it and wrap and press the flag on top.
7. With brown icing, cover the top of the chocolate. Pipe a black border around the brown rectangle.
8. Finally, take the blue icing and cover the bottom of the Oreo with waves, leaving a little of the Oreo bottom seen.
This simple Tampa Bay Buccaneers cupcake will add a lot to the football party. The design is eye-catching and helps keep guests pumped even after their full bellies from the wings or during half time when they are looking to finger foods and treats.
