There is nothing like a good bowl of chili to eat during the halftime of a Tennessee Titans football game. If having guests over for a Tennessee Titans Theme Party and not sure what to cook, look no further than this recipe for southwestern chicken chili. Not only is it delicious, but it is very tasty too!

Makes: 6 portions

Ingredients:

1 – can of chopped mild green chilies
½ cup – diced red onion
½ cup – diced yellow onion
3 – whole diced green onions
1 ib. – medium diced boneless, skinless chicken breast
½ package – taco seasoning
1 ½ cups – water
1 – can of ranch style beans
1 cup – corn
½ package – chili seasoning
2 tbsp. – sugar
1 – can of black beans
¼ tsp – pepper
1 tsp. – salt

Instructions:

Cook the chicken thoroughly in a large skillet over medium heat until it to completely done.

Add the onions, chilies, water and both the seasonings and continue cooking until all the vegetables become tender.

Next, add in the sugar, corn and beans into the pot.

Simmer the chili for 10 minutes and the set it to low heat and continue heating for five minutes. Finally, season the chili with salt and pepper.

This chicken chili will taste like you slaved for hours in the kitchen when it only took a fraction of that time. Impress your Tennessee Titans football guests at your next themed party! The chili can be served as is or with other garnishing such as some cheddar cheese or even a dollop of sour cream.
