What a fun idea for an adult party. Whether you play for real money or just chips that can be cashed in for prizes, this party will be a blast. Start with invitations that show either cards or chips on them. Decorate the house with lots of cards and chips hanging from the ceiling and rent a poker table or just use your own. Decide how many tables you are going to have, usually up to 9 players a table is good. You can have a tournament where players are eliminated when they run out of chips. As the Texas hold’em will be the game of the night, the only thing left to plan is the refreshments. It is probably best to have a separate area where people and go and get a drink or snack on food from the buffet table. Various cold cuts and snack food will be the best bet here as we do not want food and drink to get on the cards and chips.
