Thanksgiving is a party without having to try as all your family and friends will want to come for a home cooked Turkey dinner. On your invitations you could have a turkey or happy thanksgiving. These can be sent by mail, email or even a friendly phone call. As Thanksgiving is all about the food, your decorations will mostly center around the big meal but you could certainly add fall colors of orange, brown and gold to the table and around the house. These could be in the form of leaves, pumpkins and flowers. A fun game to play at the table might be to see how many words guests can make out of the word Thanksgiving in a minute or two. The most important part of Thanksgiving dinner will be the turkey itself with all the wonderful accouterments like: stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans with mushrooms, yams with butter, sour cream and brown sugar, mashed potatoes, carrots, salads including a Jell-O mold with cream cheese balls rolled in crushed walnuts, to name a few. And for dessert we must have pies, pumpkin, apple and pecan plus, pumpkin cheesecake, pecan brownies or apple tarts.
