Sweet Dates for Dessert
Try out this unique dish with your date this Valentines Day. These Sweet Dates are certainly aptly named and they might give your partner those loving feelings.
200g fresh or dried dates
50g coarsely ground nuts or stone-pine kernels a little bit salt
honey, or red wine with honey (to stew)
Take the stones out of the dates and fill them with nuts or stone-pine kernels. Sprinkle a bit of salt on the filled dates and stew them in honey or honey-sweetened red wine. The dates have to be cooked in on low heat until their paring starts to come off (approximately 5-10 minutes).
I found this recipe online somewhere and it's so good. Although I can only make it up when I'm able to find dates.

Throw a sweet Valentine's Day party for kids or adults. Send out heart or cupid invites in pink and red; include some Valentines Day confetti in the envelopes. Decorating will be easy with hearts and cupids everywhere. Hang them from the ceiling along with red and pink balloons and streamers. Make a path of hearts on the sidewalk leading up to the front door. One fun activity for kids might be to let the younger crowd make Valentines. Supply them with construction paper, stickers, glitter, dollies, lace, pipe cleaners or other red, pink and white stuff from around the house like cotton balls etc. Games could include a large heart piñata, heart ring toss, and valentine’s treasure hunt. Candy kisses make great party favors or prizes. Use matching heart tableware and table cloths for the party tables. Use teddy bears holding hearts as your centerpieces. The food for this party, if it’s for kids, should be simple and fun like sandwiches cut in the shape of hearts. These could be peanut butter and jelly or cheese or even small hot dogs. , Serve with kool-aid or soft drinks and have some snacky foods also like chips and dips. Don't forget to give them what they love most, candy, cake and cookies. All these in the shape of hearts with pink and red sprinkles on them.
