Washington Redskins Theme Party!
Ingredients:
½ cup hot heavy cream
Ύ cup whipped, stiff heavy cream
1 tbsp. melted butter
½ lb. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup melted butter
½ lb. softened cream cheese
½ cup finely crushed pretzels
1 ½ cup chocolate cookie crumbs
½ cup chopped white chocolate chips
½ cup finely chopped salted peanuts
Instructions:
Combine the following ingredients: pretzels, crumbs, peanuts, ½ cup of the melted butter and the white chocolate. Mix them together until the mixture is moist. Pressed the crust mixture into a 9 inch spring form pan and refrigerate.
Combine the following in a separate bowl: vanilla, sugar, cream cheese, peanut butter and 1 tbsp. of melted butter. Beat together on a high speed until the mixture is fluffy and light.
Fold the whipped heavy cream into the mixture, using half of it at a time. Do this until the mixture is smooth.
Poor the above mixture into the crust. In a separate bowl, pour in chocolate chips and then pour the hot cream over them. Stir until it is smooth. Finally, drizzle the chocolate all over the cheesecake and then chill the entire cheesecake overnight.
This delightfully tasty treat will be the highlight of any Washington Redskins Themed Party or serve as a nice ending to a wonderful get-together.
