A work party could be a party planned at your job or a party for your kids where they choose the profession they want to be and then you plan a party around that theme. For instance, if your son wants to be a Doctor then everything would reflect that theme and the party room could be decorated like an operating room with plastic instruments and dolls as patients. The girls could be nurses or doctors. Have the guests come dressed as medical attendants and give prizes for the best, most authentic, and funniest. Games could include "Pin the Stethoscope on the Doctor", “Patient Piñata" and a treasure hunt for various body parts such as kidneys, hearts, lungs and livers. If anyone has an appetite after all this, it will be the kids, so serve them their favorites, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheese and crackers, chips and dips and nachos.
